LabCorp Selects Greensboro for New Billing Operation

Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings Inc., a national provider of medical laboratory testing services, will open a new billing operations office in Greensboro. The company will create 373 jobs and invest $4 million during the next three years in Greensboro. The company will lease 72,000 sq ft in Meadowview Crossing.

LabCorp received economic development incentive grants of $248,791 from Guilford County and $373,000 from the City of Greensboro, which strengthened their decision to locate a new facility here. Additionally, the project was made possible, in part, by a $275,000 grant from the One NC Fund and training from the North Carolina Community College System, administered by Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC). As a leader in workforce development, GTCC has the capability to support technical training as well as customer service, leadership and interpersonal skill development training for these associates.
